The Cadastral Records Enquiry (CRE) is divided into three sections.
Section 1:
A graphical representation of the cadastre with the parcel of interest highlighted in the centre of the map.
Section 2:
A list of notations which affect parcels indicated by stippled outline in the Locality map. The notation details are referenced against affected lot/plan descriptions or polygon ID numbers.
Section 3:
A list of all plans appearing in the Locality map together with information as to their type, purpose, and registration status
The information delivered through the CRE is provided as a searching aid only.
For activity prior to September 2002, users must inspect all relevant historical charting and reference maps which available through the Historical Land Records Viewer (HLRV).
The Registrar General cannot guarantee the information provided although all efforts are made to ensure the most current cadastral pattern is shown and all relevant annotations are accurately displayed.
For strata plans enter only the plan number e.g. SP123 select Strata Plan and enter ‘123’.
For deposited plans enter a lot number and a deposited plan number e.g. enter ‘X/123’ (lot/DP).
If a deposited plan is divided into sections, the section number and lot number must be entered.
If the message 'Too many lots found in MBR' appears after a CRE has been submitted this indicates that too many parcels of land exist in the vicinity of the enquiry lot. To ensure legibility of the CRE no report is produced for that particular query.
